I wanted to let you know about the die cast/promo car auction and how well it went. I followed most of your suggestions. We used a feature add on Auction Zip in Iowa, Ill, Wisc. and Minn. we cataloged the cars and ended up with 1491 lots. We used print adds in the Collectors Journal, Hawkeye Racing News and our local Waterloo Courier. We also had the auction advertised on our web site. We had bidders from 4 states. The Promo Cars were GREAT!!!!!
17 cars sold for more than $100 6 Cars sold between $200 and $300 2 Cars sold between $300 and $400 The top car sold for $410 and went to a man from Michigan We used 2 days to sell 1491 lots in 710 minutes for an average of 2.1 lot per minute. I want to take this opportunity to commend you for the professional and efficient manner by which the liquidation of my mother's estate was handled.
Others in your business who we had contacted were not as thorough in their assessment of the estate and concluded that it was too small to liquidate via auction or estate sale. Lyn and Rebecca,
Thank you again for such a Grand Auction. You were very organized, punctual and thorough with all the set-up work that had to be done. It took a lot of the stress off of us. My relatives from Detroit, who had never seen a country auction were impressed with the organization and the smooth flow of all the activities going on at the same time. We all enjoyed the day and we made more money than we expected.
We have moved in and have hung pictures on the wall. We are in a cool spell now; only the low 90's. The children are adjusting; we're in the fourth week of home-schooling. They have caught all sorts of insects and critters for science projects and kid curiosity. We got one cat from the humane society; however, two dogs have taken up here. One is my cousin's dog from a quarter mile up the road and the other is a pregnant stray. I guess it all adds up to a homey feel.

We only had five weeks to auction the entire contents of a 6 bedroom cottage and strip it for demolition. He was very organized and got the job done. Lyn Liechty was recommended to us by a local builder, Mike McKay. He also gave us references of previous auctions and we received glowing references from previous customers. Lyn & Rebecca were a real pleasure to work with and they worked very hard preparing the house and contents. Lyn auctioned all of the furnishings, fixtures, walls, floors, ceilings, furnace, duct work and plumbing. The auction was very well attended by "buying" customers and the house was completely stripped by the purchasers in the required time. Lyn was honest with us and the bidders and had a good sense of humor too. What could have been a very stressful event, turned out to be a very fun event. We would definitely recommend Lyn & Rebecca for your auction needs. October 10, 2009 Background on Testimonial We were first contacted in the summer of 2009 and thought this would be an Estate Auction of Personal Property. We ended up conducting a very succesful coin auction on August 29, 2009 and on September 27, 2009, we were on site to sell the real estate and personal property. The coin auction vastly exceeded seller expectations, the house brought more than double what they thought it would, and the personal property drew a very large crowd and that to was a huge success. Less than a week later we received the following note in the form of a Thank You card and a $50.00 gift certificate to Red Lobster. We were humbled by the gratitude and apprecation shown by the sellers. Lyn & Rebecca, Thank you for all of your hard work regarding coin auction and household auction.
